There is a game portal that launched recently called GameTrove.net. You can find it here:

Took a brief look, but it looks like it's something that Download.com should/could have been. No popups, as far as I can tell, either!

I'm pretty sure it's more of a place to dump shitware and call it indie than it is a place for me to download Mount and Blade or Trash.

I disgress. It actually features some real indie games on it like Breakquest. I guess they just mix it in with their shitware.
