I have exactly two issues from CGW so far, as I subscribed... er, about two months ago.
Something to note: I subscribed before I read Tom Chick yukking it up when the Guy Who Ran Old Man Murray killed off the Old Man Murray Forums. Tom Chick also reviews games for CGW. He'll get his, though.
Anyway, apparently the new FOTR game has Tom Freaking Bombadill in it. I feel my penis shriveling just typing that sentence. I will probably get it when it hits the bargain bin only because the graphics look nice, and I guess I can drop $10 to fight a balrog if it looks pretty enough. I don't know.

I stopped subscribing to gaming magazines ever since PCXL went under.
They(Any gaming mag not PCXL) send me issues every now and then. PC Gamer even had the gall to try to get me on their rag.
As far as the LOTR game goes ... I really am not excited for all it will do is remind me of the side scroller game of Willow I have on mame and I'll end up playing that instead.
