WTF. I can't post the long-ass reply to the MS vs Sony thread that I wrong.

I can't post it as a new message.

Every time, I get a Poehosting "action not acceptable" message.

Fucking poehosting.

And why the hell can't I delete my own message? Make that an option, Jonsey!

And why the fuck can't I edit my own message?

There was so much "wrong" in Lysander's that I was correcting that I mistyped "wrong" instead of "wrote" above and RobB's jackbooted security settings mean that I can't fix it. I guess it's a ploy to get people to post replies instead of edits, thereby jacking up the post count.

Do you have your post handy? Can you submit it to me via e-mail? I want to see what's going on here.

I recently went to the latest version of phpBB and it wouldn't surprise me if there were a problem on their side of things.

If it was a phpBB problem, it would likely come up with a phpBB error. It's showing a poehosting error, nothing to do with phpBB. COULD be phpBB, but probably not.

I'll try it again. Maybe I'll PM it if it doesn't work. Hopefully it will - it may be the FINEST WRITING I've ever done.

(It definitely is if it doesn't get posted - just imagine what you've missed! If it gets posted, then it's just OK. But still chock-full of solid information and light on dick and fart jokes.)

The title of the page is "406" and the text is:
Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Action Not Acceptable

Please contact the server administrator and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Server 12 at poehosting.com Port 80
A quick Google check seems to indicate that error 406 is often some Apache config problem - specifically one of the mod_s, like mod_security or mod_access? A false positive from mod_security?

...OK, it's definitely a mod_security issue. The server is thinking that the there is dangerous content in my message. Well yes, there IS, but not dangerous to the server. Except perhaps danger to be crashed by a floor of disgusted and angry replies written by the 2006 equivalent of native villagers waving pitchforks and burning down labs.

I guess I'll glance at my message to see if I can find the offending (to the server) segment. It must be near the front, as I tried posting the first few paragraphs by themself and got the error.
