because they are covering up anything that has to do with paranormal activity. In actuality I posted a six paragraph reply here but government censors have blocked out most of the relevant information. Some of the more distubing stuff (non-ufo related) has just come to light recently

Or, I suppose, the rest of the country really couldn't care less about L.A.
There is also evidence that a guy doing SETI research received contact in the 70s. He was not able to re-establish a connection. I think it's called the "Wow" message or something. I've often wondered what would happen if SETI did find something. I'm sure it would be months before the rest of the crumholtz were allowed to even know about it, much less hear it or see the results, but it wouldn't suprise me if everyone just acknowledged it and moved on. What else can you do, I guess? The trash guy is still coming on Monday and the rent still has to be paid.
