Splacing and splicing...

The writing is as grand as… As a Grande Caramel Mocha Cappuccino and not nearly as trite as the morons that usually drink them (instead of the occasional snub that just randomly walks into a coffee shop, points at the menu, and indulges in the fantastic flavor).

celestial bodies that talk for no explained or hinted at reason,

The game is overshadowed by the writing, and even though it doesn’t play out like a book, the available actions are hedged in by the egos and personalities of the characters and in many places

game takes on a plotted nature of annoying divergence; stuff happens for no apparent reason. The game elements fall behind the deteriorating mental state of the character, which is never even hinted at and in the end, can only be assumed. Not Shown. Not Explained. Nor subtly added into our minds; were forced to take the actions given by the characters, instead of creating or directly influencing.

Instead of trying to maintain a balance of challenges and twists that would come naturally for the character, Robb writes in victorian conceits, roundish idioms, trap doors for the characters to fall through, and rounded hedges instead of grey cloaks of fire. What?
