Way to Much Work to Go Through to Get Drunk Pomegranate Rum Drink:

1 1/2 c Water
1 c Sugar
1/2 ts Cinnamon
1/4 ts Nutmeg
1/8 ts Ginger
4 Whole cloves
1/2 Unblemished lemon, squeezed for juice
1 qt Fresh pomegranate juice -OR-
6 To 8 medium-sized pomegranates; skinned, the pith removed, seeds -squeezed, pulverized and strained
1 Bottle of Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum

In a large enameled pot combine water, sugar, and all spices. Bring to a boil and gently simmer for 7 minutes. Remove the whole cloves.

Add the pomegranate juice and lemon juice to the hot spiced fluid. Bring to slow boil, then simmer for 2 minutes.

Let cool to drinkable temperature. Add rum a little at a time, tasting until you get a satisfactory mix. Serve warm.

Mmm. I might have to make myself one of these tonight. Do you leave the yolk intact or no?

Yeah, that looks pretty good and appears to be my level of simplicity. It's a plan.

Oopsadoosey! I never clicked onto the '2' part of this thread. Ben's Multimedia Wizardry has answered my question. Thanks!

Yes, please leave the yoke intact. As you can see from the photo, it doesn't have to be 100% cooked, unless that's how you prefer it. It should be mostly solid, though.

Also, remember to salt and pepper the egg(s) to taste after you drop them into the pan.
