This is less a movie review than a comic review. "Unbreakable" is M. Night Spamalamadingdong's attempt at a comic book movie, like Fantastic Four or The Tollbooth Avenger. I never knew comic books could be so involving. If the stats at the beginning of the movie are correct then I am woefully out of the loop and should have never watched it unprepared. I done it, though and now have to live with Bruce Willis and his dripping poncho for the rest of my life.
Is it important for M. Night to cameo in every movie? Just like Hitchcock. Hmmmph. Glad Spielberg isn't so vain.

It was an all right movie that more people will claim to hate as Shamalayan's movies get more and more incomprehensible. That being said, the home invasion guy should have done it for door-to-door salesmen, and it probably would have closed the book on them if anyone had seen this movie in great numbers.
We had someone come by recently asking to put a sign for their security system company in our front yard. I read later that this is a common scam and the next step is that while you are agreeing to this they get someone inside your house to case the joint. I think I'm off even speaking to these guys from here on out, and fuck the girl scouts for still using this tactic.
