The next chess game

Post by Ice Cream Jonsey »

I'm going to be ready to play next week (well, after this weekend) but I would like to learn a little more before going back into the fray.

That being said, I tried to swap pieces with Pinback in order to decrease the complexity, and it almost "almost worked." I'm not going to say I almost beat him, but it was more competitive. Barely.

I would like to play a game and accomplish the following:

- Serious offensive attacks in the other guy's zone

... I guess that's it. I don't want my lands impacted by all that violence.

Yeah, but you were swapping rooks for knights, and swapping pawns for pawn-shaped volumes of air.

AIR IS NOT A CHESS PIECE.
That's the wrong video, by the way.

I accomplished the thing I needed to accomplish, so I can start this Sunday night if you can, Ben.

That move says, "I can do anything and still beat you." At least according to a Wikipedian with Asperger's.

Hahah, so you just want to get it out of the way? To save time later? That's pretty good.

In the chess, we call that "transposing" moves. Like, my next move is going to be Qxh8, which will eventually checkmate you, but I thought I'd just do it right away so we can get on to game four.
