Oh!!
And congrats, Greg. I can't imagine how cool it must be to have your team go to the Super Bowl. No, really! I can't! Hahaha!
But best of luck next week. Romanowski stating that Raider fans were the best in the world after the game was pretty funny. I bristle a bit at the fact that Meshawn and Sapp are going to be there, but there's a ton of guys to like in Tampa, like Derrick Brooks and Brad Johnson.

I described the last quarter of that game as the closest I'll come to being an expectant father for a while. I just about paced through the floor.
I'll admit -- I was just waiting for them to "Buc" (ha! ha!) it up. I've been a Tampa Bay fan for too long to expect them to do things right. But when Barber took that interception back -- wow. Finally, at age 29, God reveals his presence to me.

I can't even begin to think of how that must have felt. What a play. The guy just picks his spot, jumps on the ball and was off to the races.gsdgsd wrote:But when Barber took that interception back -- wow. Finally, at age 29, God reveals his presence to me.
I have no real idea how Philly even goes out and improves that team. Do they go get a running back who is just stupid-good as opposed to good? Another receiver (I will give Reid credit for trying to draft one -- Pinkston isn't bad and Freddie Mitchell may pan out, but they are not there yet). Plus, Hugh Douglas is a free agent and Philly isn't the kind of team to go out and spend big bucks on any free agent, much less one of their own. They've been losing big guys over the years starting with the first one, Reggie White.
But truly, a sport that features two teams with JOLLY ROGERS on their helmets in the championship game is one that we can all get behind.
Oh, and I was officially sick of the "Raiders versus their old coach Jon Gruden" four days ago, so when Jim "Dipshit" Nantz made it his SECOND FUCKING QUESTION, he had managed to be something like -98 hours in running a typical Super Bowl story to death. Fuck him, fuck him for living, breathing and being so goddamn obvious.
