So please, post often and post merrily! When we pass the 50,000 post barrier, I'll be sure to bake a cake.

So how many people are left, anyway? Me, Vark, Ben, Vx, CO, hygraed, Bugs, bruce, Roody, Worm, Gerrit, Greg, Draal, JJ, Chris H., foody, Knuckles... whew! That's a pretty small lineup. I think that's our smallest lineup ever. But within this lineup there is a mission. And that mission is: get to post 50,000.

I wonder who it will be! With that in mind, what sort of changes should we make around here to ensure a better experience for all those involved? Should we go back to the old "classic" forum theme? Should we focus on some other topics? JUST TELL ME WHAT TO DO GOD DAMMIT

I think things are going great! It is an honor to be able to post this post, thereby incrementing the total post count by 1.

Because nothing says "aspiring for greatness" like artificially inflating the post count to reach an arbitrary number!

We need quantity here, people!

We need quantity, up until post #50,000. Then I want to see some goddamn effort again.

Where can I, as an interested user, be able to see the post count so that I may know when the big day is close at hand? I miss the '69 dudes!' of years gone by.

In the interest of "fitting in" on the internet, I will begin my response to your question with "Umm", and then end the answer with question marks so as to sarcastically indicate that 1) you are an idiot, 2) I am much smarter than you, and 3) man are you dumb.

Umm, at the bottom of the forum index??

I was looking for more specific data, not just an overall count. I want to know that my post, this post, is #xx,xxx. I want this post count nailed down to the minute! (pounds desk with fist) If Bush can get a second term because of sloppy, inaccurate vote counts then REALLY bad things could happen to all of us if we don't get our collective shit together. Now, I'm going to take a shower.

Is there any sort of time limit in place for this 50,000-post goal?

FUCK THIS THEME.

I am now actively campaigning for us to NEVER REACH 50,000.

Well, you could figure out some way to reset the counter, to really screw things up.
