Splinter Cell Double Agent

Post by AArdvark »

I've been sitting on this game for the better part of a year now. Just after Christmas my kid upgraded to super double power ranger Nvidia graphic cards and I got his old one, which is Waaaay better than the stock card that came with this PC. So last night while rooting about for some CD or another, I came across my patiently waiting DVD with the game thereon. "Hey!" I exclaimed, "I forgot all about this! I could actually play it now."
I was five minutes into unpacking all 12 discs when I had an epiphany! A band of angels appeared above me and with a loud raspberry they chorused "Youuuu are never gonna actually playyyy the game!" (slaps forehead with open palm) DOH! What the hell am I doing? Taking up so much space and crunch with something I won't use. I sure as hell won't enjoy it. I'll just keep on getting killed at the same old spot until I abandon the game as hopeless. I did it for Mafia. I did it for Hitman. and I'll do it for this game too. (I actually beat Mafia but I used a trainer)
Now, older and wiser, I have realized that I am not a gamer. Sure I enjoy some games, matter of fact I have Zelda on the Wii downstairs and I even play it once in a while. But bigger and more involved games? No. not in the least. I guess it's because I enjoyed Sneaky Bastard 1 on the Xbox so much I figured that No. 4 would be funner.

I know better.
