So are Magneto and Mystique on Xavier's side in this one?
X-Men 2 Trailer!

Do they fight sentinels in this one? If so, then I think Magneto may very well have some of the same goals as Xavier.
Though I would imagine that he won't be out there on the front lines. After all, he's in a plastic prison, and there's no way the master of magnetism would be able to get out of such a thing. I recall that one time where Leap Frog kicked the crud out of Magneto when he accidently threw a bic at him.
Mystique has to be one of the least interesting comic book character ever. She's blue, a bitch, and can change shape. I guess it's the blue part which really sells the character, because I have known some bitches capable of being two-faces in my time and Bill Jemas isn't going up to them offering them a monthly series (which Mystique is going to have shortly). Plus, the whole "is she Nightcrawler's mother" is the absolute worst plot thread ever... er, *one* of the worst plot threads ever at Marvel. I mean, they call Nightcrawler "fuzzy elf." This implies that he has blue fur on him. Mystique had, at no point during her completely parallel career, anything other than blue skin. It would make more sense if somebody sent the Beast back in time when he was covered in fur and everyone was wondering if HE sired Nightcrawler. And that makes little to no sense.
Hey, Kree have blue skin. Maybe Nightcrawler's dad is a KREE!!! Make Mine Marvel!

I don't remember being to keen on Mystique, either. Of course, back when I was in to X-Men (like, junior high or so) I wasn't too keen on any characters whose powers didn't revolve around mass destruction.Mystique has to be one of the least interesting comic book character ever. I thought Mystique was Rogue's mother? Or was that strictly Saturday morning cartoon continuity?Plus, the whole "is she Nightcrawler's mother" is the absolute worst plot thread ever... er, *one* of the worst plot threads ever at Marvel. When have X-Men family trees made sense? I mean, Cyclops and Havok are the sons of some sort of space alien freedom fighters, and their son is Cable (who's like 40 years old due to time travel, right?), and Stryfe was Cable's clone, and isn't this all related to Mr. Fantastic in some completely unexpected way? Or has this all been revised in the past decade? It would make more sense if somebody sent the Beast back in time when he was covered in fur and everyone was wondering if HE sired Nightcrawler.
