I have considered myself an agnostic for about the last 25 years; some people have said they think I might actually be more atheist.js wrote:Just out of curiousity, what are your religious beliefs?
Sometimes I don't know what I am. I do like good parody, though. I'm in a wheelcair and even I've found some of the sight gags that Family Guy does about the cop in wheelchair to be hilarious.

I kind of figured as much.. I would swear off God if I didn't have use of my legs too. I curse Him enough as a fairly able bodied white male, so...
what's the difference between agnostic and atheist? This is not a loaded question; I am honestly curious as someone who has always at least "felt a presence"

I'm guessing you'll get different answers depending on who you ask. "Athiest", though, at this point has gotten so loaded that we're past the point of saying "I (or whoever) is an athiest, but what I mean by that is---" Cat's out of the bag.Anonymous wrote:I kind of figured as much.. What most people think when they hear "athiest" is someone saying "I believe there is no God." However, many athiests will argue this and just say "I don't want religion screwing up my life."
What most people think when they hear "agnostic" is, "well, I haven't decided if I think there is a God or not."
Theists, agnostics, athiests, all of them are circling around this thing called "belief" which always struck me as strange. Wouldn't you want to know what the real answer was, and just say "I don't know" up until that point?
But it seems we'll never reach that point, so instead we have to decide what we "believe".
I'm a abeliefist.
Am I a hero? I really can't say. But, yes.
