The Best Recipe On The Internet

Post by pinback »

This is not Ben's Famous Anything, this is a 12-year-old webpage, which features the Best Recipe On The Internet:

http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/ ... ili-102938

Here are the reasons that this is the Best Recipe On The Internet:

1. It is easy. Bacon, pork, and a few cans of stuff and spices, and you're good to go. Prep time is remarkably low, and the ingredients are few, and also inexpensive.

2. You can follow it exactly. This is a rarity for recipes in any form, but particularly on the internet, where everything is always wrong. I happen to replace the water in the recipe with beer, but it's not necessary, and following the recipe/measurements/etc. to the friggin' milligram will result in a masterful final product.

3. It is the most delicious thing ever. I cannot overstate this. Nobody doesn't like this chili, including people who don't like chili. Vegetarians don't approve of it, but they'd damn sure enjoy a heaping bowlful. It is arguably one of the best chilis possible, and I say that as an enthusiast and connossi- connoise-- EXPERT.

Thank you for your time.

And though I've never made it, I'ma go out on a limb and say that this is the worst recipe on the internet.
