I still view the Zerg mechanics with distrust: I didn't learn how to fully utilize the Queen until months into playing the race, don't believe I'll ever fully acclimate to upgrading Overlords to Overseers (much less use their ability to drop creep), and bloody fuck... Spine Crawlers can uproot themselves?!

My favorite race in Brood War was Zerg (Hydra rushes were a favorite but not the only tactic I employed), however the mechanics of SCII will probably never feel genuine for the game if it is considered a sequel (for Zerg, Terran, and a few quirks with the Protoss) just because they are a greater departure than many have acknowledged.

Anyway... As I've already discussed with Pinback, if taken as a game I don't actually enjoy SCII to a great extent but as a product, the redefinition allows a less narrow perspective on the issue.

Well, I got back on the horse today and played three games, Random. Happened to all be against Gold-league opponents, even though my Random account is in lowly Silver.

Carriers hit both air and ground units, so in a sense, counter everything!

Because when I play you, I scout on like EIGHT FOOD because I assume you're going to do something like that.
