After seeing Pinback thread-shit on two of my brother's threads, I've decided that the only way to handle this is to encourage and reward thread shitting for everyone who is still bothering to come here and post.

So here's how you play:

1) You START a thread
2) Someone takes a SHIT in your thread
3) You give that guy a PIECE of your mind
4) Tdarcos QUOTES something TANGENTIALLY RELATED to the MATTER AT HAND
5) You take a threadshit in HIS thread

I know that there are five things you have to do, but it's really not that complicated because, for the most part, it's something we all do at work anyway.

Oh no, two different things. Flames were personal attacks that were at least thought out and made sense. Thread shitting involves waltzing into a thread and posting shit so unrelated to the conversation at hand that the conversation dies. Not to be confused with thread hijacking, which is taking the conversation off on a tangent topic.

Maybe flames tend to be scorching. Don't they also tend to burn out the conversation, or is it that they provide more heat than light?

Did you know that in many countries which were part of the British Empire, they would not allow these countries thread making machines, forcing them to export cotton or fibers to England and having to buy thread from it.
