It's ridiculous what I'm paying, which is why I'm asking for help.

Well, there you go. We give Paul a hard time sometimes, but then he really does come through.

That's true. He's goddamn Ken Jennings when it comes to buying (and eating) raw hamburger meat.

Hey fella, I may be a little late showing up and you said this a few months ago, but as I see it, 97% beef sure sounds a lot like steak, and $4.19 a pound for steak ain't bad. You want it cheaper, eat the junk that fat Ironside does or whatever he's recommending.

I would never eat what that guy eats. For starters, it appears to cause multiple personality disorder.

Hey! We resemble that remark, and think it's unfair! It being true doesn't mean the four of us can't object to it. Or is it six, some weeks I have too many personalities.

All right, back to the beef. What are all y'all paying? What can I expect to pay?

I'm defrosting ground venison at this precise moment as part of an "epic sandwich" that I'll be constructing with a friend. Not ground beef, but its going to be delicious!

Not beef, but Buy For Less has ribeyes on sale for $4.99/pound. We bought four or five last weekend and grilled them.

Dollar Tree sells very tasty 4 ounce frozen rib eye steaks, 4 ounce size which is perfect, an appropriate amount of meat that one should eat shouldn't be more than about 4 ounces, I usually nuke them for about 2 minutes. Very tasty.

That prices them at $4 a pound.

I'm sure that every cut of meat sold at Dollar Tree is USDA approved, fresh and was not raised on cat chow. You know what would make great video content? A Go-Pro on the front of a rascal scooter in a Dollar Tree!

Paul, what do we -- Jolt Country -- have to do to get another cooking video?

What if I promise never to ban you from either this site or Caltrops?
