XCOM: Enemy Unknown was, despite all of the whinging and bitching of old-school X-COM devotees, the best game of 2012.

I wish to play its expansion!

However, fuck those guys! $30? Fuck those guys!

So this is the thread where if you happen to notice that it's on sale on Steam, you let me know, okay? Give back to the man who has given you so much!

You can get the console version for 30 and that version includes the original game AND the expansion. Then on PC they want 30 for JUST the expansion? Crazy talk.

With the deep, deep discounts being offered at Steam for their summer sale and on the strength of Pinback's prior reviews, I picked up both XCOM: Enemy Unknown and XCOM: Enemy Within. There was an additional discount being offered Friday and I snatched 'em up for like $10.

Now, to play and enjoy.
