This was pretty close, huh?

(I'm "Talby". When I first started playing go online, I wanted a different name from "Pinback", a more... reflective, meditative name. So I picked a different guy from Dark Star. Then I stopped playing for about 20 years, and just started again a couple weeks ago. I'm terrible, but I was terrible, and 20 years away from the game hasn't really made me that much more terrible, interestingly enough.)

Interesting. Is the modern icons for VCR/movie controls taken from the game of Go, then? I've never seen it really played before.

Well, Go is a fun game. I'd say it's the best board game ever created! Makes that chess look like a pile of elk rectums.

Well, it's a lot older, for one, which automatically means it's better. Also it's a lot more strategic, whereas chess is more tactical, so some of that is personal preference.
