I've eaten Spam, and I wanted to say that I know what "Pocky" is. I bought it months ago at one of those international markets over in Silver Spring, MD. It's like a round wafer made into a stick and dipped in a strawberry glaze. It is definitely very tasty. Just like an ice cream cone, you not only eat the topping, you eat the container too!

Sure, but in your case that kinda goes for everything.

Pinback, you keep up those kind of funny zingers and I might get to like you too much.

So I haven't eaten anything all day to give the Spam the benefit of the doubt.

I made one of those official Hawaii spamburgers, and then I fried up a small slice in a pan with extra virgin olive oil.

It wasn't terrible.

Even the reduced sodium version I purchased was way too salty for me to consider it anything other than snack meat.

That's fair. There's a reason most people dislike it, and it became the universal nickname for "email we don't want."

I consider the matter closed.

Uh, Loafergirl, that video clip about spam was previously posted. You don't want to be spamming us with that item, do you? :)

So it has been about two months since my first and only spam meal, and I have to say that I have been really obsessing how it gets crispy on the outside and really tender and flavorful on the inside over the last couple of days...I think I am going to have to run this taste test over again...
