I'd really, really like to do a Christmas Special. They do them on British TV all the time and it makes me jealous.

Google "conference call services" and there are lots allowing a free trial, some including a web interface for the conference and automatic recording to MP3.

Thus you could eliminate the standard line on every Don Rogers show, "and the boys fight with Skype."

I'm wondering if there is a web-based program to let people connect and just use microphone and headphones on their computers. Maybe something like an application system one can install on their hosting to do this. If we can do something like a Java app to capture audio or something.

I stopped to take a look, and found Apache Open Meeting. Looks like it might work, and I've got lots of unused capacity on the Web Hosting I purchased.

It's funny but I kind of felt I could have done a better job than Don Rogers. "Tansin A. Darcos listens." Maybe interview some of the people here about their lives and what they do for a living.

Hey, if he doesn't want to do it I'll try.

You could not have.

Would any of them be real people, or would you just talk to the soundboard for another hour?

I've listened to both people talk on a subject. I wouldn't be able to tell the difference if there was a gun to my head.

I am saying that I have listened to both the Don Rogers show from the links that sometimes come up on this board, and I have listed to Paul's recordings and youtube channel, and they both hold equal amounts of value, and they both sound vocally similar.

Huh, really? Interesting perspective, I hadn't heard that before. Thanks for the input!
