That has nothing to do with it. Professional organizations like newspapers have people who back-check reporters because even professionals make mistakes.
I have had cases where I read a message two or three times, thought it was fine, saved it, and once I saw it, BAM! there's an obvious glaring error
I should have seen right away, but still I missed it. As I noted in the previous paragraph about use of a second person, the second set of eyes looking at the work does not have the problem because they see it fresh.
In writing books it's said that you write and then let it rest for a while and go back to it. And often I could swear it was perfect and come back later and discover it was wrong. In one of my books there was a continuity error where someone did something that given the circumstances at that time it should not have been possible for them to do it. That sat in the book for
two years even though I read that book regularly, at least once a month or more often. Wasn't until I was thinking about it that I realized the character did not know how to do what was asked but still did so.
