It is not comparable.

A full packet of Ramen noodles has 380 calories, while a Big Mac has 563 calories. A more accurate statement would be that a packet of Ramen noodles is equivalent to two Krispy Kreme glazed donuts which is exactly 380 calories +/- the standard deviation.

My apologies, I thought a package of ramen was around 500.

On Macs you have to press the squiggle and not the ctrl to copy things. Here my favourite molestation simulator (though obviously the full paid version is much better).

It's great to see you here. If I could enable post editing just for you, I would. But if I enable it for everyone, half these guys are going to have panic-button-pressing meltdowns and every other post here will be "redacted."

I agree with you completely, that is why I did not vote for you in the poll. I was merely interpreting some empirical data.

May I make a suggestion which might help solve the problem? Put in a timer. Allow post editing for 5 minutes from the time the message was saved. That would allow what I feel would really be the most serious problem. I read my posts and sometimes, even though I thought I checked it, I missed something minor, like I misspelt a word or one out. With a five-minute repair period it would allow corrections but still leave messages in place.

If you can't figure it out, I'll do it. All that's necessary is one line of code to check if the posting time is less than 5 minutes ago; I think PHP even has a clock comparison function such as "Now - 5 minutes".

Double points if you can do it in LOGO.

That has nothing to do with it. Professional organizations like newspapers have people who back-check reporters because even professionals make mistakes.

I have had cases where I read a message two or three times, thought it was fine, saved it, and once I saw it, BAM! there's an obvious glaring error I should have seen right away, but still I missed it. As I noted in the previous paragraph about use of a second person, the second set of eyes looking at the work does not have the problem because they see it fresh.

In writing books it's said that you write and then let it rest for a while and go back to it. And often I could swear it was perfect and come back later and discover it was wrong. In one of my books there was a continuity error where someone did something that given the circumstances at that time it should not have been possible for them to do it. That sat in the book for two years even though I read that book regularly, at least once a month or more often. Wasn't until I was thinking about it that I realized the character did not know how to do what was asked but still did so.
