If you are going to spend time posting screen shots of a video game, at least have the common decency to use photoshop to minimize the size of the fucking image and thus the annoyance to the readers who you are hoping to "enlighten". It's great that you can edit an image to make it really really wide in some pathetic response to criticism, but it would have been less disrespectful to your fellow forum denizens to edit the first images instead.

I've played the demo of Far Cry and have been interested in what ol' pinback has had to say.

And our further discussions about it on AIM have reminded me what it is I love about gaming. And America.

Look, you wanted to talk about Far Cry, and Far Cry was talked about until the subject was exhausted which turned out to be pretty quickly because no one but you has played the goddamned game. I'm sorry if this whole enterprise has turned out to be a rousing disappointment but life just sometimes works like that. If you want I'll start posting as "Far Cry Expert" and try to bluff my way through a conversation with posts like "The jungles sure are pretty!" or "I really liked killing that one guy! You know, the one with the machine gun! Did you like that part?". But I don't think you want that. I don't think anyone wants that.

I agree with Pinner here, on a lot of stuff. Far Cry, I'm sure, is a helll of a lot better than Halo for the PC. But, that was atrocious. I don't know exactly what it is that makes Halo Xbox so wonderful, but whatever the magic, Ice Cream Jonsey already fucked the fairy. It's just not there in the PC version.

Soon the Xbox version of Far Cry will be released; I don't think it'll be as good as Halo for the Xbox because it wasn't designed primarily with controller in mind; but we shall see.

I think that, all-in-all, Far Cry PC probably outdoes Halo Xbox; Far Cry, from what I've seen, is just a better game.

And besides, if you didn't want it compared to Halo, you shouldn't have done so yourself in the very first goddamn message in this thread.

Is it a big island where you get to kill everyone, or is it divided up into levels?
