I don't think he ever really "embraced" this crowd.

Of course, if he did, he might not find himself in the SPIRALING VORTEX OF SELF-DESTRUCTION in which he is currently ensconced, possibly never to return.

Nice going, mister. Now *I* wish you were dead too!

It's unfortunate. He is kind of a loner. He's like Bill Bixby on the "Incredible Hulk."

Well, look. I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm ready to declare Burger Wars II ON!!!

Here are the RULES:

The deadline is Saturday, November 23, 2002.

You must submit your entry to ben.parrish@verizon.net by 8:00 PM on that date.

Each entry must include:

1. A photo of the completed burger. Preferably no less than about 640x480 in size.

2. An ingredient list, starting from right above the plate to the highest point on the burger. Include as much detail as possible. Example: "Toasted bottom bun, thin layer of mayo, medium-thick patty cooked well done, slice of cheddar cheese, thin layer of Russian dressing, toasted top bun."

3. That's pretty much it.

Ready?

FIGHT!!!!!!

What's wrong Ben? Are you scared? Why, you're trembling like a leaf.

You're a fine chef. I'll give you that. Perhaps you were the best there was three years ago. But age catches up with everyone, even you Ben Parrish. Me, I'm in my prime. I've mastered the skills required to create a culinary delight on a bun and am fully prepared to accept this challenge.

Try not to lose too much sleep, Ben.
