Does something like that need a riff track? He just fucking falls back to laughing at things, remember when MST3K did that? I think it's pretty obvious "Wanda" is comic relief, and she's more comical than fucking Spoony.

Every so often I read something that gives me a flash of personal insight. I just realized, after reading the interview, that my kind of game is installing and configuring Ubuntu. I was at work, thinking of all the stuff I needed to try when I got home. It's exactly the same state of mind I had back when I was into IF.

Obviously, it's not a game when things go badly. Imagine that it's just an interesting puzzle and you could do without if necessary.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time gave gamers the ability to "roll back time" to correct mistakes. I haven't played the guy's game so maybe there's more to it than that, but based on the Youtube trailer it looks like he took an idea from a 3D platformer and put it into a 2D platformer. I'm a little hesitant to award the guy Designer of the Year based on that.
