For those of you who weren't in on the e-mail thread, we all e-mailed each other and we're all still going.
Is Pinback going? Is Aardvark getting on a plane?
I wish you were driving a truck up, Jonsey. I'd give you this Centipede cabinet I have to go with the board you already bought.
You know what, when we all get together, we should talk about that. The only thing stopping me from buying some of the stuff you've been selling for your arcade is transport. But I bet it would be really easy for me to fly out one weekend, hang out for a day, and then drive back with a cab or something.
Of course, Bruce had a Bubble Bobble cab I failed to move on in like 3+ years, so it's possible but, ahha, erm. (Actually, this whole trip is - from my side - a very real attempt for me to see my friends more.)
But yeah, I'm thinking long and hard about how this all could be made to work.
(I'm also extremely behind in my replies on this BBS.)

I had confused "Karate Champ" with "Kung-Fu Master." I had never seen Karate Champ at ALL. Kung-Fu Master was the one at the dentist's and cave system.

Bubble Bobble is one of those games I played a lot more on the NES and the C64 than I did in arcades. But yeah, it's a great game. I remember renting it and beating it over a three day period.
I don't know that I've ever run across a Bubble Bobble cabinet for sale. A couple of years ago I found a cheap Bust-a-Move (the one where you shoot and pop bubbles ... kind of like Asteroids, but more colorful) cabinet. It's in an old converted Joust cabinet, that's lopsided. I guess that makes it a Bubble Wobble cabinet.
