She is an exceedingly weird, adorable little blonde woman.

Her latest special was filmed in front of an audience of two: Her parents.

Her jokes aren't of the setup-punchline variety. She weaves dark little narratives and really lays bare a lot of what goes on in her head. She has had mental health issues and confronts them directly.

To wit: "There's a lot of mental illness in my family. So, if you catch schizophrenia, get four boxes of Mike and Ikes, a Bible, and a cage. Wait it out."

I saw Patrice O'Neal in a crappy movie I was watching last night, and just to make sure it was actually he, I was looking at his imdb page (and it was him).

Richard Pryor and Woody Allen are definitely up there.

Patrice O'Neal doesn't deserve it simply for the single gem of: "You can keep an Estevez down!"

Some other honorable mentions, were certainly honorably mentioned by you guys.

Daniel Tosh is my favorite living comedian not currently accused of rape.

Otherwise, not entirely sure... Sam Kinison is great. Carlin is great, but he's more thoughtful than funny, and he's certainly been outdone.

Oh, by the way Robb, I'm still alive. Not sure exactly where was the proper place to mention that.

P.S. Maria Bamford is the blonde girl who does all the weird voices. One of her fake voices actually sounds more normal than her real voice... q.e.d.

She has never won, to the best of my recollection.

Kudos to the @Midnight reference.
