pinback wrote:I would like to know what initially prompted you to begin characterizing me as a sociopath, a degenerate, all those other nasty names you called me. As far as I recall, I tried to engage in some fun banter about Tappy Tibbons, and since then you took it upon yourself to criticize one of my other websites, and then launch into what I consider an unprecedented string of unprovoked personal attacks.

I want to know what I could have done to prevent that.
I started off with the intention of just making playful jabs in the spirit of the forum.

Then, life started shitting on me pretty hard, I saw you make light of the murder/suicide, those playful jabs then turned into a torrent of rage, and I just channeled my anger at you.

Sorry.
You've had one hell of a month.

On-line though WATCH OUT!
There have been just as many times where I've gotten my way because I was nice to people. I will say that the year and a half of dealing with contractors has eroded my goodwill and I'm probably ready to go off on the next person that tries fucking us around.

You crave conflict, Dad did too but Dad also had a family to stand up for. Anyway, I appreciate the fact that you recognize that I don't take shit from anyone on-line. Truly we are brothers.

My uncle Larry had to go through the same thing. Unfortunately, he dealt with it by dying of a heroin overdose.

I hope it doesn't get that far with you, my man. We're here to help. LET US IN.
Oh no don't rope in to one of your 12 step programs that made you utterly dull.
the last group complained, quite tellingly They said, "Why don't you have a spoon that just says 'Earth?' It would save time

It is a sobering thought that I am the only person here who turns docile and more self destructive than just destructive, online compared to real life (punch a hole in a wall? Fight a PA when they refuse to listen to me? Sure. Push back against being called a nut job by Flack? Nope!)

So hey Billy - have a safe, sane move! Bring all of the rage and frustration youll surely encounter back here to linguiscally stab Pinner a few times!

When it comes down to it, we are all simply not idly obese white guys who stare at empty, lifeless 2D windows far, far too much. We are dull, boring, and needlessly complicated together!

I've already apologized, Flack. I don't see what you have to gain by constantly bringing that part of my history back up?

What I meant by that is, in less than 30 days you joined this forum, greeted everyone, insulted everyone, apologized to everyone, and are back to insulting everyone. It's your roller coaster to ride; enjoy it.

I can only say that had the guys warned me about your fragile mental state in real life at the time, I never would have engaged you, friendly or otherwise. Based on the way you occasionally dished it out I assumed you could also take it. I was wrong. I had no idea that saying something mean to you (in return) on a forum where literally people say mean things to one other every single day would affect you so profoundly, and for so long.

I won't make the same mistake again, I can assure you. The next time you talk to your therapist, you can tell him the big bad guy you don't know who said something mean about you one time on the internet said he was sorry and that he wouldn't bother you anymore.

I'm finding your response genuinely funny Flack, because it is in reply to me noting I was being way too sensitive. Anyway, as Pinback would say, LET THE HEALING BEGIN.

In my defense, I spent much of my rookie month on this BBS casting as large of a net as possible to try and get a feel for what this community likes. While I still believe I have a lot to learn regarding the nuances of JC culture, I was able to figure out that people here really enjoy:

1. Reading about old arcade games that were insignificant even when they were new.

2. Posts that make fun of Tdarcos for being a fat cripple.

While I am sure there are at least a few other things that I need to learn about being on this board, my attempts to figure them out has thus far ended in various degrees of failure. I would like to thank everyone for their patience, and I would especially like to thank Tdarcos for being so ludicrously fat and crippled, because I am pretty sure I would have gotten perma banned a long time ago on this forum if it wasn't for your compulsive need to kill yourself with Suzy Q's and cheap soda.

Thank you.

I am also willing to accept the fact that I may be wrong on this as well.

Oh you're not wrong. Over on Caltrops - another of Jonsey's boards - the cretinous reprobates that infest the place apparently consider me to carry every mental disease or condition starting with the letter "A" including Asperger's syndrome and autism.
