Nice. Your own touch on the middle aged woman who has given up. Echos of Far Side.
Yours would have been a better comic than 90% of the ones at the Syracuse Daily Orange when I was in college, mine definitely included.

Re: Crazy Doodles
Well, they's more offhand thoughts produced as scribbles than comics per se, but thank you for enjoying. It's easier in the summer to doodle. I can sit out on my back deck with the ball game on the radio and sketch pad nearby. And beers, lots of beers.

Re: Crazy Doodles
Pretty sure I saw that cartoon in the New Yorker.
Seals and Crofts are OK. I was hating on the opening band that didn't come on until the second set last week. Besides sucking, they really killed the crowd energy. People would have stayed longer if the advertised band would , you know, play.

This is a new country song I wrote
yay
I came home from the store
My girl's naked on the floor
beatin' off my hunting dog
I said it's illegal
to bone that beagle
unless you live in Arkansas
VERSE 2
I came home from the city
My girl's barbecuing kitty
And the neighbors 'bout to call the law
Cause you can do time
If yer eatin' feline
Unless you live in Arkansas

'Vark, you need to pick a reliable hosting service that won't delete your images. If you're too cheap to pay for it I'll give you, free of charge, a subdirectory and FTP password on one of my hosting accounts that you can post them from.

Re: Crazy Doodles
Postimage is acting weird of a sudden. The images are still being hosted OK but they aren't linked right anymore.
The steak doodle works fine. I believe it's got something to do with my login over there. I'll look into it now that I know it's not just my browser gone wonky

Re: Crazy Doodles
You can host pictures on imgur.com for free. You don't need an account and the ones I uploaded there 5 years ago still work.

Re: Crazy Doodles
OK, what happened is that the link has changed from postimage.org to postimage.cc. If I go back thru and change the link on each crazy doodle post it shows right up.

Re: Crazy Doodles
I didn't want to muck up RobB's photo thread so I'll post this picture of Toonces here. Getting to be a fan of manual mode and white balance adjustment.

Re: Crazy Doodles
That's excellent. I have no idea how you did that with your camera. That is what makes this so interesting.
Also - did you edit your posts? I can see all the cartoons still, so I don't see that I need to change anything?

Re: Crazy Doodles
I've been slowly going thru one page at a time and editing the links. I'll get all of 'em before long.
Toonses was lazing in a beam of sunlight on the kitchen floor and buoyed on by the superb work I see you doing in the other thread I decided to mess with my phone camera. Don't ask what the settings were, I don't remember. I just kept twiddling the f-stop, iso and white balance until I got the desired effect. Glad he wasn't hardly moving cause I'd never get that shot on the fly. This is the kind of stuff that makes me want to spend five hundred bucks on a dlsr and lenses and things. I have a pretty good camera in the closet but it only shoots film. I'm not going back there if I can help it. I had enough of that in the Eighties.
