I'm reading this entire pandemic situation as a death pool, except for sizable percentages of any given country.

How about this for a video game, sort of a Death Race or whatever that video game with a similar idea was:

You're driving a car, the "Covid 19" and your objective is to run down the people not wearing masks. You get 1 point for each person without a mask that you hit and lose 5 points for hitting someone with a mask. Evangelical churches, Walmarts, and Anti-vaccine rallies always release people without masks, while hospitals, restaurants, and mask supply stores always release people wth masks; others may do either. You lose if your score drops below 0; you win if it reaches 100. If you're too slow to move you start being chased by "the vaccine" a giant hypodermic that wants to penetrate you. Each time it does you lose 20 points.
