Mostly sunny, average about 78 degrees. Lows in the upper 50s. Breezy by the sea but pretty calm everywhere else. We went up into the cloud forest and that looked like Rochester dreary, but with jungle growth. One half of the island is arid and savannah and the other side is jungle and green

Wild goats couldn't drag me away!
There's moongoose and feral cats all over. The ecosystem is sooo fucked up. I kind of feel bad.

Unless the owners are from Western NY, I'm not sure that the bar for "best" is very high.

The people at the other tables were giving me weird looks for photographing my food.

Hawaii is medical only. I'd have to find Johnny Dealer to get my Maui Wowee or download a scrip. Eh, there's just as good edibles at home and I heard about a couple places in Upstate that sell openly. Besides, that stuff makes me all weird.

Did Wally and Madge just see a whale or a chunk of floating tire?
You decide.

LOL Ok so the rest of your trip looks awesome but I can take you on a much better "dolphin tour" in my back yard at Salty Shores on kayaks! Anyone here is always welcome :)
I honestly still get nervous when I first see a fin 4-12 feet from me thinking it's a shark. Then I have a "Ohhh! It's YOU dolphin friends!" moment.
