As much as it sounds like a cartoon character, it's actually kinda neat. One of the engineers at work has one one and he was showing it to me

$300 is more than I can justify for an experiment but it looks sweet. Maybe one day!

Does anyone here work with 3D modeling?

I'm putting this out here in advance.

Q: is it possible to cross back into the U.S. from Canada without getting your car searched if there's a person born in Nigeria in the car?

There is a video on Youtube of someone that stuffed their AK-47 with Twinkies and shows that it can still operate and fire. Amusing. Enjoyable. Delicious. We can all appreciate that video.

However, that level of consumer testing should just plain happen with car seats. My nephew vomited on the drive to my house this morning, so I took the car seat out to wash and clean it. I included it as part of a detail package I did in December, so it's not the first time it got a deep clean, but it's the first time where I did so. First off:

1. I am glad I tip the detail guys and
2. Knowing that it works with every single sample of everything he's eaten in it for the past four months would be where I need to be to feel good about it.

Every car seat is a time capsule.

Too many cats! My dream or nightmare of being mobbed by cats has come true. There are now 6 kittens for a total of 9 cats. I’m hoping once more new lifeguards are at the park that I can print out a flyer to give most or all the young ones away as I don’t want to take them to a shelter.

Today I walked out onto the carport they hang out at around 2 to give them some chow and they had a decapitated squirrel out there damn near big enough to eat one of them! It was huge! I go out to give them canned food on my way out to work aaaand the fam damnly of cats has just about eaten the squirrel! Gruesome.

I get home from work and all that is left is the head, tail, and a stench of death that would rival a Mayhem concert. I swept the carnage out into the yard and gave them some left over chicken and dumplings as a reward for being murderous feral friends.

Who shoots a giraffe for sport? They're not even carnivores for fuck's sake.

Brother-in-law of a friend went on a safari and shot a giraffe. Wanted the hide to make a rug. All I got to say is GRRRR!

They are beautiful, majestic, kind and thoughtful creatures. Holy fuck what an asshole to shoot one. And what an awful thing to make a rug of. I know I like rugs that have one edge with a long extended part that overflows seven feet into the next room.

While I don't approve of shooting them I will say in his defense it's pretty hard to strangle one.

I guess the elderly giraffes are put on some kind of a game preserve and, after the little dick safari hunters shoot them, the local tribe gets the meat. So it's more like shooting fish in a barrel than actual hunting. I call open season on giraffe shooters!
RobB, can your brother's wife add any commentary to this outrageous tourism practice?

A giraffe?! I've never even heard of such. Some animals are assholes. Some taste good. Some both. But a fucking giraffe?! What fun would it even be to shoot? It's not like it's gonna be hard to hit.

Right. This was my line of thought as well.

None of you probably give a shit, but here's my opinion on shooting creatures like elephants, lions, etc:

1. It's fucking awful and should never be done.

2. HOWEVER, if an animal has reached a stage where it actually requires being killed or it will suffer horribly (lost most teeth, disease, or another death-sentence health condition) then by ALL means let some rich dude spend a lot of money in a place that needs it just to kill the animal if that's their thing.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem that clear cut.

I hope he gets shot in the head when he's old and a bunch of giraffes eat the meat. Seems fair. (Maybe he's a great guy. I am just doing BBS speak on this.) Also I think giraffes are herbivores.

I will ask her but the thing to remember is that to her, seeing a deer was cool. We grew up with them and I would say that twice a week I see a deer just trying to live my life. It is no longer special. So I could understand if giraffes are just running around where she lives and it's not that big a deal and people put giraffe-whistles on their cars to avoid hitting them. We'll see!

It would be fine if he was shot in the head. He's not family and he shot a giraffe. I can only hope some maniac shoots him, said maniac preferably dressed in a Toys R Us mascot costume at the time.

Edit: the guy has no redeeming features. He's overbearing, does not allow his wife to have friends or go outside their house without permission

Charge people $500 to hunt giraffes and charge people $1,000 to hunt giraffe hunters.

It's the "razors and razorblades" model, except that everyone agrees that throwing away razorblades is wasteful.
