Maybe the giraffe hunters are only armed with razorblades? Or maybe the giraffes have razorblades? I dunno, I'm flexible.

"Through the reticulars, not along the puzzle edges" is their equivalent of the "down the road not across the street" when they do get a razor blade I think.

One of the feral cats; the black "mom" cat who has always been mean as shit came here limping one day.

Took a closer look at it and MY GOD. I see puss and some bone exposed on her front left leg. Then she disappeared for 2-3 days. Figured she was on her way out.

Then she shows up yesterday. Puss, blood and general grossness gone but the lower part of her leg is just dangling there! Exposed bone is dry like a splintered chicken wing. I feel so sorry for her and the leg needs to be amputated, but I've yet to be able to trap her to get here somewhere to be spayed and at this point of course she's even more wary and defensive. Now, it seems almost like she's just slowly gnawing it away. Gruesome, zombie cat shit.

..and I still have 6 hungry ass whiny kittens she birthed I need to find homes for :/

And no, amputating the cat's leg myself is NOT a psychopathic choice I would make. This story makes no fucking sense. You could handle the cat to chop its WHOLE arm off yet you couldn't handle it to get it to a vet to have things done proper and just pay the bill later?

Feral cats are the #1 killer of birds.

Saw Jefferson Starship last night at a free outdoor concert. Not worth the price.

Oh and there was a big fight involving multiple teens after it was over. Funny how it never showed up in any news site

Rolling Stone Magazine said "We built this City" was the worst song ever written by 1984. I don't know,, it's kind of catchy.

The harmonies were ok on the album. The live show sounded as harmonious as a cat fight

The Kalashnikov rifle is one of the few things the Soviets got right. Cheap to make (Communist countries and dictatorships are always short on money), can be made by unskilled labor (third-world dictatorships often use stupid people to assemble them), and are practically almost foolproof in battle conditions (some countries are using children as soldiers.) It's a shame they don't clean up the mud in jungles or the sand in deserts, but the rifle usually ignores the presence of dirt, mud or sand in the mechanism; the AK47s almost never jam, and if they do, most grunts can field-strip them within a minute to remove the obstruction, re-assemble, then resume killing people

Unless a consumer device is designed and made specifically for ordinary people to service it, the manufacturer will usually make it using the least expensive method to construct it.

Spectrum turned off my email last Friday. I figured it was the security update thing affecting everyone. After four days it was still off so I finally called. It seems they are purging all the old Roadrunner email accounts (mine is at least 20 years old). They can reactivate my old one for now but I should get in there and move all the important stuff to a new email account soon as possible. I also have to log on to all the websites that use 2fa and get that changed or I'm screwed.

Guess I'll be having some screen time this weekend.

Unreal. Absolutely no reason to do that for paying customers.

If my experience with zombieworld is anything, there may be some critical system tied to it. Email is so dumb. We are all old enough that we are seeing security tied to email accounts.... but then these dipshit sysadmins start disabling email accounts.

In all fairness they probably sent me a notice sometime in the past and I just ignored it like I do with 95% of emails I get.
If I didn't need an email to log into websites I wouldn't have one at all.

It's my opinion that Spectrum doesn't like the rochester.rr.com format because it reminds them that there was a better internet service at one time and they can never achieve that level of quality.
