On this week’s episode of You Don’t Know Flack I delve into the MiST computer, a new FPGA-based system designed to run Amiga and Atari ST software. I talk about how difficult it is to get the MiST up and running, compatibility issues, and whether or not I’d recommend one.

Episode 144 is Online.

Better late than never, on this episode of You Don’t Know Flack I rummage through my old Halloween memories, from trick-or-treating back then to trick-or-treating today. I run through most of the costumes I’ve worn in my life and talk about old and new Halloween parties. Not much tech talk on this one, but still a good listen.

Getting back to arcade games, I spent November 15-17 in Denver, Colorado hanging around the 1UP Arcade attending the 3rd Annual Kong Off Tournament. Billy Mitchell, Steve Wiebe, Walter Day and the 32 best Donkey Kong players in the world attended the tournament. In this episode of You Don’t Know Flack I talk about my time spent at the Kong Off 3 and some of the other classic arcades I visited in and around Denver!

Listening! Ack! One inaccuracy!

Hank Chien didn't get the DK record till after King of Kong. Tim Sczerby had it for much (all?) of the filming of KoK.

Ah, shoot. I thought it was Hank who had it during that time.

I'm sure you know who will let me know on Twitter. :)
