first time for everything, I agree with Billy: why can't we get some live streams or videos of a day in Paul's life in the hospital? We could take up a collection to fund it so ICJ wouldn't have to pay the whole $20.

You seem to misunderstand what the status of someone in a hospital / rehab is or the meaning of "incommunicado."

It means you are institutionalized and can't leave. You can't go home to get anything. You have to arrange to have someone bring things. The problem was my phones were dead and I had no charger. And no computers or tablets. No audio recording equipment. No video recording equipment. No means to edit. No means to upload. Let me ask you: how many of your friends do you actually know their phone number or is everyone you know stored exclusively in your cell phone?

I think in that case you just call 911 and tell them to go get your chargers and phones and computers and a pizza.

They showed how a woman did exactly that. Called 9-1-1, gave her address and asked for a large sausage pizza. The dispatcher asked her if she understood she was calling 9-1-1 and the woman said yes, and to put extra cheese on. The dispatcher then got it, and said "are you calling from a place where you're in danger from someone who can hear you now?" and the woman said, "uh huh, that's exactly right, extra cheese and sausage. Can they get it here quickly?" The dispatcher said they could. Shortly thereafter the police apprehended the man holding her hostage.

But without the pizza. In that case, I'd hope the guy just shoots me.

It's pretty easy to get a pizza, you could just go out and buy one for example.
