Anyway I have one simple question. What does it mean that the titles of some message threads are red and some are blue?

Some sort of secret political test? The board guesses political orientation then assigns blue to liberals and red to conservatives? Like a cat eating tuna fish, I await your answer with baited breath.

The red ones are new posts, or ones that have new responses.

You can remember this by thinking, "this one needs to be be read."
