I wonder if, when ChainGang was a child (he was just a Prisoner then, when he grew up and got bigger he became a ChainGang), there were public celebrations, and he thought people were celebrating his birthday, only to discover later on they were for Pearl Harbor Day?

Happy birthday, CGG! You could teach all of a much-needed lesson in succinctness, but I don't think I'll ever be willing to give up my unwieldy paragraphs and awkward language.
