I am going to use this poll for REAL MARKET RESEARCH.
Would you ever play a new game that is a point and click adventure like Maniac Mansion? I will try to add a screenshot to show what I mean. Basically you have characters you can move with the mouse and you can click on words and objects to build commands.

Yeah! Those were my favorite kind of games back then. I still have not finished Thimbleweed Park, but I played through countless point and click graphic adventures including all the SCUMM engine games.

I play them all the time. Played through Technobabylon, the Deponia games, Gemini Rue, the Blackwell games, the The Book of Unwritten Tales games, Kathy Rain, Shardlight, and others. Need to find some quality time to play Unavowed next.

Yey, Steam sale started. Just bought all three "The Journey Down" games, Unavowed and Whispers of a Machine. And a bunch of other, non-point&click games.

Do you know if people are using SCUMM to make new games, RealNC? Would you use it if you were to make such a game?

Zak McCracken was so, so much more worse in this regard. I beat MM many times as there were different endings for both NES and DOS depending on who you beat the game with.
