Hey, guys, here's the interview with Bruce. Do me a favor: if you see any typos or whatnot, let me know before it goes "live" on the site. Gracias.

Also, the high intensity color scheme is supposed to make it look like the interview took place in Zork for the PC. It's really retarded, isn't it, the white-on-cyan thing? Be honest, please.

I'll presume that everything is OK there. Special thanks to whoever just posted a message detailing that "CANADA SUCKS" right before the RFTK site gets pimped right again. Hey, if you get the chance, how about extending a giant middle finger to those from Mexico, Honduras, Panama and everyone else on the continent! Much appreciated! ROCK ON!

(Note to anyone actually coming to the site for the first time: the official position of the Trotting Krips is that we don't hate Canada.)

(Well, except for those aspects of Canada that have to deal with Scott Stevens, but hey, otherwise, we love the maple leaf and everything it stands for.)

(That's not intended to be an endorsement for the Toronto Maple Leafs, though.)

Yeah, I didn't really have any thoughts on the interview except a bit of surprise because I had forgotten about that IntroComp thing.

What would have been the proper handling of that situation? Just throw out all the votes from people who voted on only one game but still let the game have a chance?

Well, either demand that everyone who votes plays all the games, or else take the votes as you get them. I think it's pretty soft to disqualify a game like that when there was no malice intended. If one of the Amissville dipshits started vote spamming a competition, sure -- there's obviously an attempt by some immature piece of trash to try to "ruin everything." Bruce, on the other hand, had simply given a heads-up notice to the 2600 Emulation Crew. I'd have been pissed if one of my games got the axe in that manner as well.

Somebody do me a favor: I don't want to take PTX's Full Throttle review off the first page because it's the single most popular page in my webspace aside from the JC front page. So someone please ask a question regarding Full Throttle, Protagonist X, or both. I will then be able to answer the question from "Reader XYZ," where "XYZ" is your name, like they did in Amiga Power.

So Robb, is "Protagonist X", the guy who wrote that GTA3 review in the features section, really Zach Bishop who wrote the Full Throttle review?

Yeah. I can't remember where my GTA3 review is, so let me clarify what I think is your position by saying that he wrote the well-thought out and reasoned response to the giant thread the bunch of us engaged in that is up in the Features section.

Additionally, I just went into the RFTK mailbox. Your advice to all the Full Throttlers was nicely done, I thought.

I was going to link to whoever you are referring to here, if it's anyone specific. If not, I'll just link to a picture of Callisto, as she fights with a knife and is quite grotesque to both the human and mutant eye.

As far as I know, no, there aren't any winabegos in the game, nor are there light posts, however there *are* tall buildings you can throw people off of, and there is a stage that's in the middle of the street, so it could be possible and I just haven't had it happen yet. I haven't played the game, so I am just guessing, but as you probably know, Psylocke was originally a British girl with gray hair who had telepathic powers and who had no ability to fight in a hand-to-hand manner whatsoever. Additionally, though she (like every other female comic character this side of Amanda Waller) had a perfect body, but it was perfect like J.Lo's, not perfect like Callista Flockhart's.

At some point, some genius decided that Psylocke ought to be a Japanese (!!!!) ninja or samurai or something, so they gave her epicanthic folds, mastery with swords and completely switched around her body type. I mean, Christ -- make a new fucking character already. But whatever. Is the "Betsy" girl in the game wearing a pink outfit that looks like something an Arabian belly dancer would wear to work? If so, maybe this is what is going on.

Hi! I blew it. I was hoping to get back with PTX regarding his Shenmue article, and I didn't end up doing that.

If anyone has anything even remotely approaching an IF or video game article and would like hundreds... sometimes, even a thousand eyeballs viewing it, get with me ASAP. It's still technically "Thursday" on most of the planet.
