Jolt Country

This is a group project for 2021.

I worm-holed my way to this video yesterday. I clicked around it and the first thing I saw was him slicing up string cheese sticks, so I knew it was a ridiculous video. But then I watched the whole thing, and if I could turn out a NY slice like this in my own house, I would consider 2021 the best year on record.

So, we're doing this. You need not announce your participation. If you wanna participate, you just have to post pictures.

Let's solve the home-cooked NY pie in 2021!

Hmmm, I'm of the opinion that pizza should be made by others and served to you. But I'm also rather lazy when it comes to things like cooking and camping. Maybe I consider it part of the experience.

Ok, I think I can participate. My wife got me a disembodied, propane-tank-based pizza oven complete with pizza stone for my birthday last year. I think I can use this and I like the advice about the DOUGH.

(The pizza oven she got me is really tricky to start and she burned her eyebrows off with it once.)

I guess "untethered" is probably the correct term, not disembodied. Disembodied is what we'd use in Cyberpunk 2077 though.

Here was attempt #1. The shape was wrong, the crust was too thick, the picture is horrible, and it was still one of the five best pies I ever ate.

This project is succeeding.

Maybe it's time we get you a proper camera if this is a journey you're going to be taking.
