I kind of like the idea of taking some of the messy death parts out of the game to ease frustration. This version of Infocom's "Planetfall" text adventure has had some limitations removed so you can experiment with the game. This is not intended to be used as an "easy mode", this is intended for people who have already beaten the original so they can try various things out in an easier fashion.
(For example, seeing if the lamp in the radiation lab actually works in dark rooms when normally you'd never even get near a dark room without dying from radiation poisioning.)
- The game doesn't end when you die or win
- Shuttles can be used any time of day or night
- Floyd shows you his card as soon as you use a card near him
Notes
You will need a z-machine interpreter (like the freeware WinFrotz) to run this.

Re: "Debug" version of Planetfall
You could add a tour guide NPC and turn it into like a Planetfall Museum. "Here is the room where Floyd selflessly gave his life to save the main character. /sweeps upturned hand in a semi-circle."
When you need my help because I'm ruining everything, don't look at me.
