RetroRomper's ACK Preservation Project Survey
Posted: Tue Jun 01, 2021 11:19 am
RetroRomper is no longer active on this board, but he still has big plans for his ACK preservation project. He has asked me to share a form with the ACK community that will allow you to share your ACK opinions, memories, and files (including incomplete games) with Retro and his team. They are considering a number of possible ACK-related endeavors, including a documentary and an online museum exhibit, so if you'd like to help out in any way filling out the form would be an excellent first step. They need your help to tell ACK's story and archive it for future generations. The form is currently accessible here.
You'll need a Google account to fill out the form since Google Forms requires this for forms which allow file uploads. If you don't have a Google account or have some other problem accessing or filling out the form, let me know and I'll try to come up with another solution or get you into contact directly with Retro. I'm not currently affiliated with the project beyond serving as a contact person on the board in RR's absence, but he is working with several talented people at his new nonprofit who will potentially be helping out depending on the response from the community and Retro not suddenly firing them all.
