My wife and I did this one with musicians, but I thought I'd open it up to other art/entertainment forms, actors, comedians, whatever.

An artist who you like -- their personality, what they do for the community, whatever, you'd want to meet them and have a beer -- except for their actual artistic output.

Kathy and I both had the same answer: Dave Grohl. Seems like a GREAT guy, very personable, funny, his TV shows where we learn about music history are great, but I wouldn't listen to Foo Fighters if you paid me by the quarter-note. Awful. Not AWFUL, just bad enough where I wanna change the station when they come on, and I feel bad, because who doesn't like Dave Grohl, you know?

Anyone have someone like that? You like them except for the thing that you're supposed to like them for?

Andy Warhol sounded like quite the character. His art was marginal, more like an industrial illustrator than an artist. Would have been fun to have a beer while he shoots up, or something.

Not sure if this fits, but there was a guy whom his friends, one of whom was Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones, staged an intervention for his drug addiction.

This lead to the meme, "When Keith Richards has to tell you that you have a drug problem, you're in serious trouble!"

That does not remotely fit.
