When I had issues with Windows deciding to suicide itself a couple months ago I got so mad I punched my first Unicomp mechanical keyboard. That was a mistake! But it was also pretty filthy in addition to now being broken. I do wash my hands; that wasn't it.

They are having some shipping delays but kept me informed and I got it last week. It's great and just what I was hoping for. It's also lighter than the one I had before - lighter in terms of carrying it around, I mean, the keys are unaffected. Just as sturdy with good feedback when I click on them.

I raise my glass to Unicomp.

I have bought I think three of these, and the 1st two were fixable but for my incompetence. It is a Great Keyboard.

the keyboard I use at work looks just like that. it's far better than any modern keyboard I have. Still a din plug but it's a lot more heavy duty than the cheap keyboards Colvin buys. it's probably why I like typing all my stories at work. When I retire the keyboard is coming with me. it will last that long, I have no doubt.

Jonsey, would you say the Unicomp clicky keyboard is the last keyboard you'd ever buy, terminating your search?
If so, and the Unicomp clicky keyboard is your only salvation, then would you say it was Terminator Salvation?

Unless I smash this one into bits out of rage because I had to burn a weekend reinstalling Windows like I did the last one then yes, it will be my last keyboard.
