Here is a pro-tip for those ready to join me in this magnificent crusade: Don't fuck around. Mix it up into the water, and drink it all very quickly. Like, if you even wait 30 seconds, it's going to start to absorb the water and turn into a very unpleasant sludge right there in the cup. You want to drink it before this happens. Here's one: don't pay ten times as much as you need to for the fancy brand name "metamucil" or all their expensive advertising. Go to Amazon and search for "psyllium husk." Buy the cheap generic capsules in bulk for orders of magnetude less. It's the same exact thing.

Fun fact about generics: did you know that Sominex, Benadryl (allergy med) and Benadryl (anti itch cream) are the EXACT same thing (Diphenhydramine HCl), and you can get the generic in huge bottles for less than a penny each, instead of paying like 50 cents each to get pill in a blister pack with a fancy label? I thought asking for a coupon code was a serious question. Guess I misread the sarcasm on that one. Some people do overpay for pretty labels, and it bugs me. Not sure why, but it does.
