Accept this as my RSVP that I send my regrets that due to a prior engagement I will be unable to attend. (The 'prior engagement' is sepsis infection about four or five years ago that left me paralyzed from the armpits down.)

Also, every member of congress, the president, vice president, joint chiefs of staff and all cabinet members also privide their regrets on their inability to attend.

See if you can get Pinback, he does great parties. When he decided to hold a meet-and-greet for all the members of the Bull and Finch Pub BBS, only him, me, and his father showed up at Crystal City mall. Since it was just us three, we rented a hotel room and ordered hookers and blow. A good time was had by all.

Bugs, it's great to see you. I hope you are enjoying this era of Blue Jays baseball like I am. Yes, the playoffs aren't going how we want them, but otherwise at least we have a good chance of beating the crap out of anyone we face for the other 162 games.
