Where did your handle/username come from?

I'm curious and I don't remember if this was asked before, but where did you come up with the username you're using here? If you'd be willing to tell us, I for one would love to hear it.
Now, as for me: Waay back in the primordial era,, millions of (Internet) years ago, probably 1984 or '85, I wanted to poke fun of the idea that someone whose 3 names have six letters each, has some satanic connection because of the number 666, so I decided to make up a character name for a story I wanted to write. Ironically, he was supposed to be the bad guy. Over years I decided I liked the name more for the hero, so eventually that's what he became.
Well, I'm into computers, so I notice some of the names of mathematical functions, both in Fortran and Basic, e.g. ABS for absolute value, ACS/ARCOS for Arccosine, ATN/ATAN for Arctangent, COS for cosine, SQR/SQRT for square root, Tan for Tangent, and in Fortran, because of it's popularity in scientific computing problems, duplicate versions of these preceded by the letter "D" for double precision, e.g. DABS, DARCOS, DATAN, DCOS, DSQRT, DTAN.
So, if you use TAN, Sine, and double arccosine, you get TANSIN DARCOS. So now I needed a middle name, and I had two conditions: I wanted it to start with the letter A, and be six letters, so that it gets the 6-6-6 cachet. I didn't like any of the other mathematical function names, so I thought, what does the name represent? Defiance, in effect a "take that" to those who think a name with 6 letters each had satanic significance (note these same people did not seem to believe this applied to some real people, e.g. Ronald Wilson Reagan). So, perhaps the name represents not just defiance, but something else, perhaps... arrogance?
Bingo! Drop one of the letter "r" characters, and you have the name.
Sincerely
Tansin Arogan Darcos
or Tansin A. Darcos.
