It should be noted that phpBB does have the ability to let guests delete their own posts. However, our erstwhile sysop has disabled said functionality, leading to the occasional double posts by guests. Bleah.

I do not understand the poll. What is "all your base belong to us" referring to?

1. The phrase itself?
2. The Laziest Men on Mars song/video?
3. The fact that it showed up in the first place?
4. Its general overuse and run-into-the-groundness since it first burst onto the scene?

I will hold off voting until I am sure I understand.

Which is not to say it was VERY funny, because it was not. It went on way too long, and many of the entries seemed creatively lackadaisical at best. But it did have its moments.

I like "guest" accounts and everything, but membership needs to have its privledges, narmean?

Of course, there are a lot of guest posts that are made simply because a d00der didn't login, but still.

I thought the - my job thread - was pretty damn funny. It was better than hearing what people actually do. I mean I read all the funny stuff but just kind of skimmed through all the real job info.

If I were to take a pop quiz right now on what the actual denizens of jolt country's jobs were I wouldn't be able to tell you. But ask me what Bob Green’s job is and I'll recite it back word for word. Not probably word for word but I'll make a nice little summary.

Hey, he treats everyone like shit, so I decided to give him a little of his own medicine. If he wants to take it personally, that's his own problem.

For the record, I had pretty much stopped baiting him after he put his tail between his legs and asked me to stop.

Generally, the movies base is the only one I look at (and admittedly, usually only the movie content), so I did not see the troll room hurling.

I'm annoyed because he'd trash everyone but get all whiny when he was trashed, and not do anything back.

I had no particular ill will towards anyone here as of a couple weeks ago. (Well, except for my unbridled and seething hatred for Jonsey, but that goes without saying.) Pinback's appalling behavior brought forth the abuse. His inability to bring forth any comebacks brought forth the "my bitch" comments.
