Funnily enough, I was going to chide ICJ for being too nice in another thread. (In reality, for those who don't know him, he's the nicest person in the universe, lacking, I think, the great internal anger that I mask with a veneer of cheerfulness. But he can still be biting, in a funny way. Biting, I tell you.)

I appreciate that. I can't remember if I told you the story about the guy that pulled a gun out in Kenya yet. After all the drama was over and he got the money he was looking for, he sent my brother a few more WhatsApp messages.

In his final message, he said that he was happy to meet, and wished the best for "Melissa and her husband."

I feel a certain pride in being able to get along with just about anyone, but I'll admit being on pleasant terms with the local gun-toting sociopath 7,000 miles from home was a new high score here.
